Visual Research

Right after I graduated from the London College of Music in 2011, my strong interest in media made me start doing work experience at Partizan London. It didn’t take long for me to get strongly involved in the research department, where I learnt and developed the job skills.

A few months ofther, I became full time employed. During the next two years, I closely worked with Partizan’s directors developing their ideas, researching and designing their treatments.

After this time in Soho/London, I decided to learn about how advertising and media worked in other countries, so I started travelling around Europe and USA and started freelancing for companies based in L.A., NYC, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, etc.

At the moment, I’m based half betweein London and Madrid and I keep working for advertising companies and directos from all around the world.

When I work along directors, it is very important for me to understand his/her vision for the potential film or project we will be developing together. The way I do this is to analyse his/her work and build a strong understanding of how he or she would see this film or project.

Briefing and feedback is essential, but it is also very important to be communicative at all times in order to hear all the ideas or specific details; these will make the big difference when pitching against other treatments.
